Did you Know?
The current Council of Lumby are making deals with outside Major CORPORATIONS with plans to boost Lumby’s Community from roughly 2,000 Members to somewhere between 25,000 to 50,000. They intend to turn Lumby from being a Village into a small City.
Do you want to Support Privately owned Local Businesses and Producers?
Or,
Would you prefer buying everything from outside Major CORPORATIONS that are operating within your Community?
Are you Happy Living in a Village where we all Know one another and can easily care for one another while maintaining our way of Living?
Or,
Would you prefer to Live in a Metropolis controlled by outside Major CORPORATIONS?
These are questions we must all ask of ourselves.
When a Community collects Taxes, such as Property Taxes, from its Residents 50% goes to the Federal government, 40 – 42% goes to the Provincial government and the Community that collected those Taxes only sees 8 – 10%.
Where do you WANT your money to go?
What do YOU want YOUR money used for?
With the right choice, you CAN decide :
